On My Dining Room Table

My parents are here and my mom brought along some new card-making supplies. I've been having fun today, running paper through a Cuttlebug, punching flowers, and stamping. The dining room table is littered with paper - I chose only a small section to show you.

Last week I did some sewing - not just the pillow in the previous post, but also an Easter dress for the Little Miss. It was hard to get her to pose for a photo - she's a whirling bundle of energy.

Have a great weekend everyone! It's bright and sunny here today and feeling very spring-like. Sunlight is so energizing.

  1. That dress is darling and fits your little granddaughter perfectly! I see that you didn't fall too far from the tree if your mother brought her crafting things. Have fun, you two!

  3. Lorrie dear, many thanks for all the lovely comments whilst I've been sailing the seas. Catching up now - some blogging time interspersed with garden chores, and many, many errands which require attention............time goes by far too quickly, I need longer days!

I LOVE the darling dress you fashioned for adorable Little Miss - it's so classic and perfect - the headband is cute too.

Have fun with your parents - I miss those precious days when I had my mum visit from England and we would sew together - make the most of every moment.
    Happy weekend, Mary

  5. What a sweet little girl (and sweet dress as well!). The photo reminds me of a pattern I made my girls a few times -- but ours had a pinafore as well. So satisfying to play with contrasting/complementary fabrics in piping and ruffles and various layers. You obviously revel in pattern and colour.

  6. The dress you made is adorable, Lorrie, as is Little Miss.

Have fun with your papers. The checkered one with the Swiss dots is so pretty.
