Vee's Note Card Party - It's all about Colour!

For this month's card party, I debated between choosing snowy scenes and colourful ones. We've had no snow here, although I keep hoping. So colour won out.

What are the colours in your world these days? Snowy white? Gray? Blue sky? How about indoors?

  1. Oh it's gray all over the place or blue and white.

Love the colors...they made me smile immediately and smiling is a good thing.

I also had to smile that you were the first to sign up, even though you are working. Everyone should have a chance to be first once in a while. (I finally got to be first at Mosaic Monday a few weeks ago. It was a blast.)

Oh, yes, I do remember that there is a Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island because, on the post where I found the photo of Mt. Washington in winter and I also mentioned going shopping in Portland, people were quite confused about which side of the country I was on. ☺ Perhaps it was you! I'll have to go back and check.

  2. I still have to get my act together and collect some photos from previous posts for the party. I like your theme of color. Maybe I'll choose a theme to narrow down the choices...
    Blessings.

  4. Oh these are just gorgeous pictures! I love them all and the starfish is so neat with all the little dots on it. We have snow on the ground and some grass showing after the January thaw. The sky today was sunny and blue but we will have more snow tomorrow - our first in a couple of weeks. Blessings, Pamela

  6. Lorrie, these are wonderful. I love color. And the chalk took me back immediately to my dad's set of chalk which we could use if we were very careful of them. Isn't it interesting how something like that can just leap one back to the past? Thanks for your sweet comments.

  12. Seeing as we live on the same Island we are getting the say weather....grey, the occasional snowflakes, with a few sunny days thrown in the mixture. My walls have become quite colourless as I dropped off 12 bright paintings off at Artzi Stuff (in Nanaimo Old City area). Your last blog posts are full of lovely colours and happenings. Enjoy the day.

  18. Lorrie -- love the color. I went that route on my cards as well. [There hasn't been much snow in NEOhio this year, and I haven't captured the little that there was.] Have a lovely day! ~Sally

  21. Beautiful! Color is so nice to see in Winter. It has been gray and dreary here for three days so some splashes of color are so wonderful to see. I love your picture of the flower.

Congratulations on being first - hasn't happened to me - yet!!!
I would be waiting for snow too if I lived in your part of the world!
I love the change of seasons - each one bringing it's own particular charm.
I don't often get the chance to take snow photos as it never snows in Auckland where I am!
