The second stage we purchased ornaments that coordinated, most of them reminiscnet of days gone by with victorian paper angels and vintage tin sleds etc. Lats year I started feeling like I'd like to go simple. we went back to a real tree and filled it with ball ornaments in shades of silver and blue. We were expecting a boy grandson, so I thought maybe just one year to simplify as my fall had been so busy. This year .. well, why not keep a good thing going? It was so easy to put away. But I'm keeping the old memories tucked away for now. Some are just too precious. Now that got long...<br />I wish you a blessed Christmas with your loved ones! Your home is so inviting! This year we took it to the next level of 'soul' by cutting the tree from public lands - it is a bit scraggly, but it's a real piece of Montana. Your ornaments are special, each and every one - what a terrific mosaic! I have treasured getting to know you this year. Thanks so much for welcoming me to the blogging family.
