When in Spain and Morocco, I admired the many Hand of Fatima door knockers. My dear late friend zipped into a stall in a market in Morocco (unseen by me) and purchased one for me, the brass black with age. It doesn't have the striking plate, but hangs on the wall by my front entry. I'll look forward to photos of your upcoming travels.

KarenMy Little Home and Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01519563352358635257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38904271.post-18351339181867037952016-03-11T03:05:52.209-08:002016-03-11T03:05:52.209-08:00I wonder where you are going in England Lorrie? I was astounded at the antiquity in England--how buildings have withstood time and progress. I've not been to France, but to England twice, Scotland, and Ireland. My favorite in England? Yorkshire and a village named Haworth where the Bronte sisters lived. And the Globe theatre, of course. Good memories for you and especially that you traveled with your mom. Rain today. Sun tomorrow.
