Yes, you must make the pumpkin cake - it is beautiful and also a crowd pleaser - it is best served with whipped cream, which helps to cut the tartness of the cranberries...it really is needed. I did not sweeten my whipped cream much.

xo TerriWindlosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17014227226507484798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38904271.post-15719462114222407662012-01-08T09:01:46.132-08:002012-01-08T09:01:46.132-08:00This soup looks delicious. I haven't made it in ages, but this makes me want onion soup in a bad way! Oh, and your previous post brought back such great memories! I loved looking out at Tod Inlet from Butchart Gardens, seeing the sail boats bobbing and reflections of the trees in the water ... that was a very special trip for us!Becky Garrisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124407753367247995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38904271.post-41648499696672539722012-01-06T15:41:21.571-08:002012-01-06T15:41:21.571-08:00Interesting concept though a little too much like ...Interesting concept though a little too much like "Rate My Space" or whatever that show was. I can tell you, Lorrie, that I admire your photography skills. I want to dive into that onion soup and I'm not that big a fan of onion soup. I also love the quality of your writing and the variety of subject material in your posts. I'm not telling you what I don't like because I can't think of anything. On the one hand, I recently re-started blogging only because I gave myself to blog only to please myself, and not worry about being entertaining or worthwhile for anyone else. On the other hand: information, as they say, is power. Maybe getting feedback would cause me to improve my blog without the angst of guessing how to reach maximum appeal. We'll see...WendyBeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07171619702536045694noreply@blogger.com
