Postcard #6: Into Every Vacation a Little Rain Must Fall



And so it has. Cold mist blows off the water, whipped by the wind to drive to the bone. A good day for wandering I'm and out of shops in scenic Lunenburg. The city really is charming in spite of the crooked photo.

Tim developed a cold the first day of our trip and I've been assiduous about washing, not sharing food, etc., but spending 24 hours each day together means the germs are always nearby. 


Today I succumbed. Scratchy throat. Achy limbs. Not much energy. After a stroll through town, a warming lunch of carrot ginger soup, and a little drive, we gave in and are sipping tea and relaxing in our cozy suite in the heritage house shown above.
