Postcard from Prague

Prague is such a beautiful city, filled with amazing architecture at every corner. Spires of all sorts stretch to the heavens against a cloudless blue sky.

View from the Charles Bridge towards another bridge not so far away.

Such a pretty and interesting decoration over a building just off of Wenceslas Square. I love the beehive in the centre and the pale blue background.

Wonderful details.

Just a quick post - there is much to explore! Today we're off to a tour of Castle Hill and a classical music concert later.

  1. It looks beautiful. Eldest son has just returned from there and had a good time. I will have to put Prague on my list. Hope it’s not been too hot. B x

  2. It is wonderful that the spires are still there. As I was driving through town yesterday, I realized that every single church has removed their steeples. It really made me sad.

  9. Love Prague, and delighted for you that you are seeing it beneath those lovely blue skies and lots of sunshine too.
The gable with the bee skep in the middle is beautifully designed - I can just make out some bees going in the entrance, the sun and moon don't look too happy, and what about that row of cute fluffy clouds - it is gorgeous. Someone has really enjoyed crafting that.

  16. I've so enjoyed the glimpses on Facebook of your holiday. Such beautiful sights. Loved that you took the three paper facsimiles of the grands along on the trip. (They must be having such fun following you around.) We'll look forward to more photos.
