Postcard from the Road 2

A quick post this early morning before leaving for Dawson City.  We’ve been in Whitehorse for three days and have seen flowers, a fox, and more of the beautiful surroundings  the sunset photo was taken at 10:15 one evening.  Light lasts long and begins early still, even as autumn is just around the corner.

Thank you for your comments. Internet has been sparse and I have not visited anyone online.  I will have lots of catching up to do when I return home.

  1. Enjoy your travels... The photos are quite small, which I am sure is due to the limits of the Wifi. Perhaps, you'll make them larger when you get back home after your adventure. No need to catch up with me as you know. ☺️

  5. Beautiful scenery
The fox looks more sleepy than quick. Maybe that's his smile face.:)

  11. Great pictures especially the last with the lit-up clouds. That fox looks like he hasn't had a meal for some time.

  14. Hi Lorrie,

This is so exciting -- love this postcard!! I've never known anyone who went to the Yukon. It makes me think of adventure novels like "The Call of the Wild." You are seeing some amazing things, and I look forward to more stories when you return home. Take care and safe travels to you!

    Hugs,

    Denise
