December Note Cards

Are we in a time warp where everything is speeding up? I can't believe it's time for Vee's Card Party once again. Photography has taken a back seat to other things lately. This first photo is of a lamppost at Butchart Gardens, in front of the bare rose gardens.

Also at Butchart Gardens, a lovely bronze sculpture adorned with a wreath and a bow.

Christmas in a teacup.

A toy tractor bringing home some Christmas greens. This last is from 2012.

Thanks to Vee for hosting this warm and friendly gathering each month.

  1. Cute cards Lorrie! Each one is festive looking with the bright red and greenery. Hope you are having a good week and not too busy.

  2. These are most delightful...I can't choose a favorite...love 'em all.

  3. Thought I'd check in on the party just before going to bed. Found three new entries! That lamppost looks so Narnian. I love it! Did you get that sense as you visited the Gardens at this time of year? What a sweet wagon bringing home the tree. It just so happens I have a John Deere floating about somewhere here. Perhaps I need to put it to work.

  4. Your choices are great, Lorrie!

  5. I love these! The tractor and wagon load of greenery is such a neat idea!

  6. I love your photos from Butchart Gardens. Always fun to see how gardens decorate. Love the teacup and the toy tractor is too much fun! Merry Merry!

  7. Wonderful cards Lorri! I don't know if I will make it to the party...I am running late and trying to get some posts done of my Christmas decor and some before n after shots. I will look forward to the next notecard party, it is one of my favorites. Love the lamp post shot with the festive red bow! Have a great day!!

  8. I really like all your note cards choices, especially the lamp post.

  9. Lovely collection, Lorrie. Loved the little tractor pic.

Visiting Butchart Gardens at this time of year is one of my favourite things to do. The very first time I saw the gardens in winter was on my honeymoon. Perhaps that's why it's so special...smile.

  10. Hello dear Lorrie
Wonderful photos that all make beautiful Note Cards for sending at this time of year!
The little tractor and trailer is gorgeous and useful too - is it a Tonka?
I've been working for two weeks so I'm all behind!

  11. Hi Lorrie,

Beautiful note cards, all of them. I am especially taken with the first two for their beautiful iron and bronze material and the richness of the seasonal red ribbon and wreath!

    Merry Christmas!

  12. Festive note cards, the horse is awesome.

  13. Hi Lorrie,

I feel like we're in a time warp, too! I love all your pictures and they would make lovely note cards. My very favorite is the second picture -- just gorgeous. I also like the idea of Christmas in a teacup. :)

Thanks so much for your visit, Lorrie, and a Very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  14. I love that...the tractor bringing home the tree. I think I might just copy that idea! Beautiful note cards...every one.

  15. Lovely notecard shots. All are so festive. I'm lovin' that horse!!

  16. Very, very nice! I love the beauty of your photos always!

  17. I love all the touches of green against the red.

I hope you are enjoying this holiday season .

  18. What great notecards Lorrie. Love the iron horse and the toy tractor and wagon. They are sweet notecards.

  19. Your photos always inspire me, Lorrie. Beautiful captures!

  20. Oh I love the horse with the wreath
and of course the pretty teacup.
But the tractor with the greens just
delights me. I have a similar tractor
and never would have thought of
    decorating it.

  21. Love your traditional reds and greens, Lorrie! The horse is wonderful, but the tractor pic makes me smile! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  22. Lorrie, what lovely notecards for December. My beloved late husband and I visited Butchart gardens when we took an Alaskan cruise several years ago. Merry Christmas to you!
p.s. I loved your pillow in your latest post. I'm going back to check it out again......
