Apparently Blogger has installed WV to prevent spam. There's no way around it if you have a pop up comment box.
However, I noticed that those with embedded comments did not have WV. So I switched the settings and voilà!, WV disappeared.
I also discovered that if you are a registered user, that is, you are commenting using your Google account, you don`t have to enter the WV code, just hit Publish, as per usual, and the comment should post.
A sweet little Miss is turning 4 and celebrated with a dance party. Music, costumes, a wonderful instructor, and little people dancing with abandon. It was marvelous, full of exuberant joy.

I just fixed my blog too by changing to an imbedded comment, with hosting a party the word verification could be a problem.

ReplyDeleteYes, I noticed what you discovered re: WV and, as I'd already been using the other way of leaving comments, people weren't having a problem on mine. I wonder why Blogger has a spam problem just on one type of commenting. Who knows, the whole techie world is a mystery to us all, well except our grandchildren who don't seem confused, and who also aren't too helpful when their old grannies and grandpas beg for assistance methinks! Missing dear H (Pondside) and hope her move went well. Please give her my love if you see her over the holidays. . . .just left her a comment also.

ReplyDeleteThe mosaic makes me want to dance! Love it. One thing I've noticed on a few blogger blogs is that they aren't letting me comment with my Wordpress Account. They say I don't own that identity. I'll going to try here now and see what happens. I always have my google default but my google is connected to MGCC blog...

My comment box is embedded, so I didn't realize that Google had changed things re word verification adn spam. Good to know.
