And it's that wonderful time of year again - blueberry season! These squares are so good! I make them with frozen berries as well so they are not just a summer pleasure. A bit of lemon, some oat-y goodness and sweet bursts of blueberries.

ReplyDeleteLorrie, on another note. In case you haven't ever come across this book, I found a treasure at the library the other day. I thought of you instantly.
"Miniature Scrapbooks, Small Treasures to Make in a Day" by Taylor Hagerty. People like Susan Rios, April Cornell, Eileen Cannon Paulin have all contributed their special versions..... as I say, I think it's a treasure.
I'm hoping I can find a copy on amazon or somewhere. It was published in 2006 by Lark Books.
Blueberries are one of our family favorites! I just finished making Blueberry Jam and Blueberry Syrup.
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your summer!

Those look delicious! I will certainly try your recipe. We have blackberries growing here at the farm but no blueberries. I am not sure if they are climate hardy in this area or not but I am going to put that on my list of things to check out! I would love to have them growing here to harvest every year. I do love me some blueberry pancakes! Thanks for sharing!
