Queen Anne's Lace

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread,
places to play in and pray in,
where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.

  1. Hello Lorrie
Ooo I love Queen Anne's Lace and it looks lovely in this old silver jug.

In our old house I had it in the garden and eagerly waited for the little plants to peep through, knowing that Spring wasn't too far away.
Now we are in a townhouse with a very small garden but MAYbe I can sneak a couple of plants in somewhere... with their height they had good structure to a border!!

I'm off to the garden centre....!!!
    Thank you for sharing Lorries.

  2. How pretty! Love catching the glimpse of you taking the photo. Queen Anne's lace is blooming right across the continent I guess because I commented upon it today while out and about.

  3. I LOVE Queen Anne's Lace! We take a walk as a family every evening and it blooms all along our path. We pick a bunch for a boquet and save some for later. Every 3 or 4 days we'll pick more and bring them home. I have it in my windowsill in the kitchen. Great post!

Thanks so much for visiting today and for your kind comment.

    Have a great week!

    God Bless,
    Kathleen

  4. The Queen Anne's lace waving in the ditches and fields really says summer to me too.
I passed by the grounds up in Saanich today and thought of your preparations - I hope they're coming along well.

  6. Your photo is simplicity itself -yet there's an elegance depicted in this photo. "A weed is just a flower out of place."
