  8. I used to feed them peanuts on my back deck. One day I walked down the hallway and there was a Stellar Jay sitting on my living room lamp waiting for more peanuts.
    I would line them up on the railing and the jays would pick up and weigh each one before flying off with the perfect choice.

  9. One of my favourite verses! Thank you.

    We have 5 Stellar Jays that visit us each morning for their peanuts. They can't be too hungry though as often they hide peanuts around the yard with a leaf on top. Then they fly back for more. A few minutes later the crows come and dig up the peanuts and have a tasty feast!
