Make yourself a cup of tea, grab a cookie or two, pull up a chair and join us for Vee's Note Card Party! Here's where we display 4 photos previously shown on our blogs that we think would make great note card photos.
"poems of geology" (Norman Maclean) |
"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things" (Henry Miller) |
"It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you out, it's the grain of sand in your shoe" (Robert W. Service) |
"I lift my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121 |
So there you have it. Mountains. Thanks, Vee, for hosting the Note Card Party once again.
Absolutely breathtaking, went back and took another look! ~smile~Thank you for sharing, and for taking the time to visit me.

These are intensely beautiful. Really special shots! The perfect clarity makes them magical!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! And the quotes and scriptures really make them special! You need enlargements of ALL of these! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteI am getting a post ready for the party too! I agree that the Lake Louise photo is one that you should frame and hang on the wall! That is a beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous and all would make beautiful note cards.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are fabulous and I especially appreciate the sentiments you used. The one about sand in the shoe really struck home. I am glad that you will frame the second one of Lake Louise in the clearing mist. There's just something about that shade of green and that red canoe.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fabulous Lorrie, I can't even pick a favourite.

ReplyDeleteThose mountains are breath taking - absolutely stunning - amazing - there just aren't words. Fabulous photos. Each one is my favorite - I'd really love to see the tallest one - and the beehive and the lakes!! I agree - frame them all and hang them up.
ReplyDeleteAll of these are beautiful-- and I would love to see the beehive! But the Lake Louise one-absolutely gorgeous!!

ReplyDeleteYes, all four of them would make beautiful notecards. I would love receiving one. If I had to choose my favorite it would be the second one.
ReplyDeleteI've missed you Lorrie! With the baby and her mommy here for going on three weeks now I've been doing so much hugging, patty-caking, and laundry I haven't had time to visit any blogs. You've been busy too I see. Hasn't this been an amazing summer. September and October should be incredible also. Take care. Great cards. xo Carole
ReplyDeleteBreath taking pictures here! What a gorgeous collection this is--love mountain scenery. My favorite is Lake Louise morning mist too! You should definitely enlarge that one and hang it up where you can see it every day!

ReplyDeleteMarvelous pictures and great choices for note cards. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteI know I've said this before, but I will say it again: Your landscape and the images you capture from it are just majestic. I can't even imagine what it would be like to see it in person. I don't think I could keep my breath in.
ReplyDeleteThe quotes you shared to go with them are just as beautiful. My favorite is the second one.
These are perfect for note cards - AND for prints on your walls! Bravo!!!
ReplyDeleteTwo and four are my favs. But Lake Louise in the mist is my VERY fav. Absolutely stunning! This would definitely make a fantastic set of notecards!
ReplyDeleteStunning photographs. Perfect quotes for them.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Gorgeous! Every one of these photos is stunning, but the photo of Lake Louis...there are no words. I am glad to know that you will frame it. It is definitely frame-worthy. (Have you ever entered any photo contests? That one looks like a winner to me!)
ReplyDeleteThese are such lovely views, Lorrie! What beauty you experienced!
ReplyDeleteThese mountains are so beautiful & majestic! Perfect choices for the note card party!

Gorgeous photos, Lorrie! I think the Canadian Rockies are much more dramatic that the Rockies in Colorado as they seem to be more sharp and jagged on top. The Lake Louise photos is so peaceful and dreamy looking -- I can see why it's your favorite!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! That one of the mt. in the mist is incredible---almost surreal. I'd definitely have that hanging somewhere in my house!
