Postcards from the Road: Wildflowers

One last post card from the road. We should be nearing our island home once again by the time this posts. Here's a collection of some of the wildflowers seen in the Canadian Rockies.

Have a great weekend!

  4. You've had a wonderful vacation! All these wildflowers are beautiful, but I am totally taken by whatever the first one is to the left on the second row...what a lacy little beauty it is!

  5. They are beautiful - one of those unexpected treats in a road trip through the Rockies. I remember stopping to pick wild strawberries along the roadside - nothing has ever tasted as sweet.

  7. Great photos -- love seeing fireweed and spotting Indian paintbrush, like recognizing old friends. We've got a little road trip planned next week, and we'll be hoping to see some of these.

  10. Wildflowers always seem to me to be more colourful and pure. It's amazing what can just grow at the side of the road without any nurturing at all. I hope the last leg of your journey is safe and quick for you. xx
