Summer on a Plate
Lettuce and basil from my garden, local tomatoes and mozzarella cheese drizzled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. One of my very favourite summer tastes. Mmm good.
Today is our wedding anniversary. 31 years - it doesn't seem possible! We were so young, with stars in our eyes. I'm so glad to be married to my best friend ever.

Happy Anniversary Lorrie!
ReplyDeleteThe years do pass by so quickly. You have to enjoy every minute of your time on earth.
Your summer on a plate looks so yummy! Makes me want to just go have a salad for lunch now.
Have a great day!

Happy Anniversary. Yes how nice it would be to share afternoon tea together. Maybe you will get to England one day.
ReplyDeleteAs to the Clematis - it will always hang down unless it is tied up. I laboriously tie mine up to trellis or netting as it is growing up and then when at the top just leave it to do what it likes and that is usually grown back down.
oh, congratulations, Lorrie! It is such a blessing to be married to the best guy ever, isn't it? The salad looks wonderful, that's exactly what I'm making tomorrow for my European family.:)
