Here is is. An unadulterated photo of the front hall closet. Scarves dangling, shoes askew. In the bag to the right I keep my shopping bags, underneath is the earthquake emergency kit. That glowing thing in front of one of the baskets - I had to go look. It's a reflective strap for walking at night. A little tidying is in order.
But first - time for a break. I'd be happy to serve you a cup of coffee or tea and a piece of this apple pastry I just made.

It actually doesn't look all that bad, Lorrie! I am putting off cleaning out our downstairs closet and the one in our bedroom. I'll do anything to avoid it!

ReplyDeleteOh comme cette pâtisserie a l'air appétissante ! Surtout ce soir où l'on a mangé une soupe parce que le repas de midi était trop copieux... je sens mon estomac prêt à gargouiller.
ReplyDeleteJean nous ramène beaucoup de pommes en ce moment, autour du village il y a des vergers (certains ont l'air à l'abandon) et il ramasse les fruits tombés à terre. Nous avons donc de quoi tester ce dessert !
I don't think there is a closet in existence that is actually used that looks neat and tidy (just my personal observation). The pastry looks yummy ... I'm on my way over!

ReplyDeleteOur hall closet was made for tall people, and the only way I can get anything at all onto the shelf is to toss it - or in the case of scarves, fling it artfully - as high as I can!
