In the midst of this.....
a little of this is wonderfully calming. I joined Amy's 39 squares stitch-along, except mine is going to be 54 squares. So I cheated a little and did three squares at once. No pattern, little forethought. I just chose a palette of tans, greens and blues with a little pink and yellow for accents and began stitching, filling the one-inch squares with colour and pattern. Fun and easy - just the ticket for these days of packing and studying.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Lorrie,
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading your post this morning, I couldn't help but reflect back on the past months--(I'm thinking at least a year--could be wrong because time passes so quickly nowadays). Your positive attitude and faith in God during your husbands job lay-off situation has been such an inspiration to me. It is my belief that you decided to let God guide you and you have kept the faith.
You have kept your hands and mind busy, and seem to have never faltered along the journey. You surely are a woman of great strength! You and your husband have continued to share a strong bond and present perfect role models to your children.
I just wanted to let you know that you have shown ME that faith and prayer and perserverance do pay off in the end. You inspire me with your pictures and your posts. I do thank you for sharing them with us/me.
I felt the need to share that with you this morning. Best wishes on a easy transition with your move. I can't wait to see pics of your new location. I know that you will be sharing lots of them with us.
Have a great week!
I'm not sure how you manage sewing and packing together!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to do something pretty and creative every day.... in the size of a pocketful of joy!
