"When was the last time you spent a quiet moment just doing nothing - just

sitting and looking at the sea, or watching the wind blowing the tree limbs, or

waves rippling on a pond, a flickering candle or children playing in the park?"

  1. Enjoyed your quote... I've been doing a lot of quiet moment nothings this past month of winter....it's been bliss!

  2. A few weeks ago when our grandson was visiting, he took a nap on the sofa. I sat for along time watching him sleep. So sweet, so precious, such a gift from God, so glad to be Gran!

  3. Today was too quiet surrounded by the snow falling and the wind blowing for most of the day. I finished my book and need another. Hope you had a good day!

  4. I'm doing rather less than normal these days, as the hours are regulated by naps, medication, small walks and more naps. It's actually has its benefits!

  6. Can't remember...though I have found myself staring into space without a thought in my head. That can't be good.

  8. Doing nothing - we don't have enough moments to just do nothing do we?

I often think of myself as an ant working in the ant hill....always with something to do.

  9. Love the quote, it has been a long time since I sat and did nothing but relax and watch life go by. That is not right.
