Pale croci (or crocuses) cluster companionably, lifting upwards to soak in the warm of the sun in a week that has seen howling wind and rain, frosty mornings and even snow. Fresh green shoots. Pale blossoms. Simple and lovely.

ReplyDeleteI was just admiring the yellow crocuses on the blog of a certain someone in your life, and now find these lovely lavender ones on yours. I'm trying to remember the colours of those planted in my garden last fall; you're starting to make me long to see them, Lorrie. Patience.
