Lorrie - I had the same experience this morning! I got up to a lovely sunrise, and stepped out onto the deck to take photos before it disappeared! And it didn't even feel cold ... And then, 2 minutes later, it was all obscured by mist!
ReplyDeleteAs for football, neither one of my teams made it ... sigh. But at least I achieved something with my stitching! Have a wonderful week, and thanks for visiting my blog!
I enjoyed all your pictures but that first one is amazing. The colours of the sky are so beautiful.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful nature photos!! Thank you!
Such beautiful picture and sky colours !
ReplyDeleteI like ducks and geese, we don’t have much here, but I can observe a lot of them when I go to the Netherlands.
The sunrise would have made my heart sing. Such a lovely photo even if it wasnt quite what you had planned!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous sunrise, beautifully photographed, as always. I love ducks, and delight in your pictures of them swimming about. I had a very similar day: cooking, sewing, laundry...blogging!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteThat first shot was certainly glorious, if only it had lasted for your whole trip to the pond. But the foggy shots have their own glory too and a little mystery with that beautiful lush lichens on the trees, or at least I'm assuming that's what I'm seeing. As always I'm impressed with the climate you have there. If only I were younger it would be top of my travel list.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors on the sunrise. The ducks on the pond make me smile.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Hi Lorrie~ Oh my goodness, what a beautiful sunrise! It's been unseasonably warm here this year as well, it's supposed to be 47 degrees here today and 50 tomorrow. The pond looks gorgeous in the fog, and the ducks are so cute. I always enjoy your posts! Have a great week! Barb
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a wonderful walking spot, Lorrie. I loved seeing the ducks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious sky and great shots of the lake. A relaxing day by the sound of it. B x
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful photo of the sunrise... it's the dream.
ReplyDeleteYour walk was obviously nice, I would have liked to have been there.
Many greetings to you from Viola
Such a beautiful sky and I enjoyed seeing the ducks.
